.....It was a night no one was able to miss, a night of glamour,water, a night thrilled with captivating crowd despite the heavy downpour of the memorable and historical event...According to the history of nigerian entertainment, #getwet is said to be the most anticipated amongst undergraduates and even the working callibre..

    It was said to be the first event where people struggled to be while raining heavily, in between, the event was highly graced by top nigerian artiste such as  #Tunde Ednut, #Skuki, #Davido & his gang (HKN), #flowwsickk, #Djzeez and many others....The event was said to be a huge success despite those who could not make their way down there because of the downpour..pictures coming soon..

PICTURES & STORY OF PSQUARE INVASION CONCERT

It was a night of Glamour, Glitz, and Groove at the Expo Hall, Eko Hotel Saturday, July 30th venue of the most anticipated album concert of the year staged by P-Square tagged (The Invasion).

The event attracted dignitaries from all works of life including entertainers and politicos;i.e First Lady of Lagos State,Abimbola Fashola,Omotola Jalade Ekeinde,DjJimmy Jatt,9ice,Munachi Abii, Bovi among others.

First act to hit the stage was Gospel Singer Skid Ikemefuna, followed by fast rising Hip-hop act Yung Six who thrilled the crowd with his new single “Follow Me”.

Sean P also cracks the crowd up! His dance version of Cabo Snoop's Windeck has the crowd screaming for more.

Some other acts that thrilled the crowd with their wonderful performances were Davido, Lynxx, Ikechukwu, Sound Sultan, Dr Sid, Tiwa Salvage, Bracket, Waje etc.

P-Square performed songs like I luv U,Temptation,Chop my Money,Bunieya Enu,Impossibility,Asamkpokoto,Busy Body,Ifunaya,Do Me that held the crowd spellbound.
 

Low moment of the event was when the song' Forever' comes on, the sound goes off for close to ten minutes. Although crowd show support by clapping and cheering.

                                       The show which was anchored by the elegant BeatFm Presenter Tolu Toolz Oniru and Freeze was a fulfilled and memorable event.

CONTROVERSY AS KAREN & WENDALL WIN BIG BROTHER AMPLIFIED

A lot of Jaws were dropped when IK (Big brother Africa host) announced that Karen and Wendall (yes WenDULL) have emerged winners of the Big Brother season 6, Not because they were joint winners(We knew that already, although the finalists didnt) or because Karen won (everybody knew she was gonna win) but Wendall..... The Virgin Pilot from Zimbabwe emerged winner also with both of them taking home $200,000 dollars each.

Fans of the show  (esp. South Africans) immediately took to twitter to lament and protest the results....Most of whom (including Nigerians) claim Luclay was meant to be the second winner instead of Wendall....They attacked The Official Big Brother Africa handle (@BigBroAfrica) with insults and claims of favoritism to Nigerians seeing that Nigerians now hold Key positions in MNET. The programme's producing company and other matters.

TUFACE & D'BANJ NOMINATED FOR BET 2011 AWARDS

African big shots and Nigeria’s biggest musical exports 2face Idibia and Mo’hits’ D’banj made their country proud by clinching the ‘Best International Act For Africa‘ at the recently concluded BET Awards. The awards which took place the Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles was hosted by actor/stand-up comic Kevin Hart.
The biggest winner of the night was R&B singer Chris Brown who bagged four awards including Best Male R&B Artist, Best Collaboration with Lil’ Wayne and Busta Rhymes. Wiz khalifa won the award for best new artiste but it was the kiss he shared with girlfriend Amber Rose as he walked up stage that caught the audience attention.
Performers of the night came from Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, Patti LaBelle, Beyonce (who’s performance was pre-recorded), Kelly Rowland, Drake, DJ Khaled, Big Sean, After Seven, Five Heartbeats and others…Warren G. and Snoop Dogg, dressed in all black perform to ‘Regulate‘ honoring one of Hip-Hop’s greatest hook men, Nate Dogg.
Another high special moment of the show were the tributes and honours given to Patti LaBelle, Gil-Scott and Nate Dogg.
